da me risulta ancora in pre order su Play.com ( tra l altro, io e la vicina di casa abbiamo ordinato il cd dei REM..spedito lo stesso giorno..a me è arrivato dopo 9 giorni, dall altra parte della strada ancora no ( e siamo a 17 giorni)..misteri delle poste italiane )

Ascoltato tutto l'album.....pop rockettino facile facile da lasciare basiti a pensare che sono i WITHIN TEMPTATION.......che scopiazza ovunque a spasso tra eighties e metal-Chicco dove c'è un bambino a là Hammerfall......chi prendeva per il c**o e sghignazzava per Tokyo Hotel e marmaglia al seguito è servito vita natural durante hihihihihihihi

si, ,molte citazioni anni'80...
ma..
ne avessero fatto di album così i tokio, chemical romance, linkin et inutile cagnara d'oltreoceano

3. In the Middle of the Night

One of the heaviest and most thrashing tracks released by Sharon and co over the past decade. Goose-bump inducing perfection soars with every chord, lyric and beat. One of the best songs Within Temptation have ever recorded, it takes their sound to brilliant new heights and shows their harsher side to full effect

9. Lost

The second slower moment features some of the most despairing vocals we have heard from Sharon. ‘Help me I’m buried alive’ she cries- as I’m sure we all would if we were buried alive. Furthering the epic ballad sound established on the band’s earlier releases, notably Frozen, the slower tracks here feel fresher than ever, perhaps due to the concept nature of this album, and therefore the innovative lyrics.

11. A Demon’s Fate

Fast paced track, A Demon’s Fate, would be well received to a wider audience than the typical Within Temptation listener. Accessible, yet heavy and symphonic, this is comparable to the best tracks from Nightwish’s remarkable Once album, like Dark Chest of Wonders, for example.

Verdict


The Unforgiving is not only the best album that Within Temptation have released so far, but this is the best album I have had heard in a very long time..

Su play.com a me riporta che non è + in pre-order ma in fase di "packing", penso sia l'imballaggio, quindi a breve lo dovrebbero spedire....
personalmente ho ascoltato l'album e sono pienamente soddisfatto, mi piace molto la loro evoluzione musicale. Ogni album è diverso dall'altro, si sono sempre saputi rinnovare e questo è un pregio per la band. E' vero anche che chi ama alla follia Mother earth può non apprezzare TU a pieno perchè c'è un notevole cambiamento però mettersi a fare paragoni con i Tokio Hotel è ridicolo...paragonare dei bambocci stupidi con annesso cantante imbarazzante ai WT lo trovo francemente inopportuno.

Anche io ho ordinato il CD+DVD su Play.com e lo stato dell'ordine è Packing. Non vedo l'ora che arrivi

OK. Allora è giunto il momento di dire a mio padre di fare il suo lavoro su Play!!! Mi sa che lo ordinerà domani o venerdì pomeriggio: speriamo che me lo mandino subito perchè la carta che usa mio padre per acquisti internet dura solo 4 giorni. O forse è meglio che aspetto a fargli fare l'ordine direttamente lunedì?

Io parlo di musica, non me ne frega niente se sono bambocci, se sono novantenni, se sono indiani o eschimesi...MUSICA...e con un album di qs tipo non credo si possa molto sparlare di altri gruppi XD

Make your own one minute short film of the moment you buy the album, listen to it with your friends afterwards, or having your own secret release party. These are just a few examples how you can celebrate the release of the album. It can’t be crazy or funny enough. You may use 60 sec of the new WT songs as a soundtrack of your film.

The most original film on spending the day of “The Unforgiving” release will win a trip to New York where you and 1 friend will visit our concert at Terminal 5 on September 10th. The winning prize includes an economy flight to New York, 2 nights in a hotel and concert tickets including a meet and greet with the band.

Out of all the short films we receive we will choose a large amount of footage we will use for the official “Your Unforgiving Experience” compilation! Make yourself immortal with your short film about your release day of “The Unforgiving”!

Procedure and timing
Upload your movie of max. 1 minute on Youtube. Next send the original video file to us by uploading it to Wetransfer through this link. Very important: mention the Youtube link and your e-mailaddress in the message field! You can upload and submit your short films as of March 25th. The deadline will be April 22nd. After that date no new submissions will be accepted. The winning short film will be announced shortly thereafter depending on how many films need to be watched it might take a week or even more.

General legal conditions:
You have to be of legal adult age to participate in the competition and you will need a suitable passport or visa to enter the United States of America. It will be your own responsibility to obtain a passport and valid visa for the USA. You will need to arrange for your own transport to and from the airports of departure or arrival. By submitting your short film and participating in the competition you automatically agree that your short film (or any excerpts of your film) might be featured in a compilation which will be uploaded online to any online video portal or www.within-temptation.com. By submitting a short film you are confirming that you haven’t infringed any copyright law or any other law with the film footage submitted.

01: Why Not Me

S: “Why Not Me” is the first song. Mother Maiden tells it, and it’s there to get into the atmosphere of the album. I think it’s a good beginning.

02: Shot In The Dark

S: “Shot In The Dark” was a very important song for us, because it was one of the first songs we had written in this style. It really gave us a clear picture of what kind of direction we were going with the new album and the new sound, and there is a little bit of this eighties flavor in there, but it’s still kind of heavy and uplifting also, but still dark, so it has a lot of contrasts.

03: In The Middle Of The Night

S: “In The Middle Of The Night” is probably the heaviest song we’ve ever written so far, and also a very special song because of the fact that it has a lot of tempo changes. It’s a totally different rhythm compared to everything we’ve ever done before, another tempo, and it’s one of my favorites, I think. It’s just a cool song. It has this Metallica-type riff in there, a riff inspired by that, and it’s going to be a favorite for a lot of people, I think.

04. Faster

R: “Faster” is about the fact that when they get revived again, it’s not only that they get a second chance, but they also get some extra powers: and one of them is that they are just able to move faster. With that, they also get this feeling of adrenaline and power. And they feel more alive than ever, and that feeling is what “Faster” is about.

05. Fire And Ice

S: “Fire And Ice” is more of an epic song. It’s a song that reminded me a little bit of Frankie Goes To Hollywood vs. Sinead O’Connor with the song “Troy”, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood circa “The Power Of Love”. Not that you can immediately hear the inspiration, but it’s more about the emotions the song gave me when I was singing it and thinking of what kind of melody line I would like to make on it.

06. Iron

S: “Iron” is a little wink to a band that we love, and that’s Iron Maiden. It has this galloping kind of rhythm, and Ruud made a very “Iron Maiden” kind of solo on it, I think, something really inspired by that. It’s more of an ode to them, of course, but it also really fits into the comic with the lyrics, of course. It was really a “youth” kind of song, really about growing up with their music.

07. Where Is The Edge

S: “Where Is The Edge” is a song that still has the same kind of feeling like the songs on “The Heart Of Everything”. It’s been used for a trailer for a movie called “Me & Mr. Jones,” and again the lyrics are written for the comic, but it was used for this movie that’s about Joran van der Sloot, well, not really about him but two people are investigating what really happened on the islands, and they wanted to have some music and they really liked this song – and also the song “Lost” is used for this movie –, but the lyrics are all based on the comic. Somehow, when you’re watching this movie, you might think that the lyrics were written especially for this movie, but that’s also because there are multiple interpretations to the lyrics.

08. Sinéad

S: Yeah, maybe you’ve seen the movie, but in the movie it is explained that she was a junkie, and she shot her own father, and she really feels guilty about it. So when she’s being resurrected by Mother Maiden the lyrics are about the fact that she has this second chance. Her life is going to turn around and things will be different. You can start again and try again, and hopefully feel some kind of redemption in the end. That’s what the song is about.

09. Lost

S: “Lost” is one of the few ballads on our album, and I was talking to an interviewer just a few days ago, and he said, “Well, there are really no ballads on this new album,” and I said: “Yeah, there are, there’s ‘Lost’ and there’s ‘Stairway To The Skies’…” He says: “Yes, but towards the end it still has those heavy guitars.” So it’s not the typical kind of ballad that we used to write like the song “Forgiven” on the previous album, but compared to the other songs it’s still more of a ballad than a really uptempo song, of course, and it’s also one of my favorites. That’s really a very small song – it starts just with acoustic guitars –, and it’s very direct, very pure.

10. Murder

S: “Murder” is a really psychedelic kind of song in the way I sing it but also in the way it sounds. It’s also very American, in a way. I think it was necessary to sing it this way because of the lyrics, because it’s about a murderer – and it’s a special song. It’s different from the rest, really. It’s more American than all the other songs, I think, sound-wise.

11. A Demon’s Fate

S: “A Demon’s Fate” is, again, a very epic song. Maybe a song that could’ve been on the album “Mother Earth” because it has this sing-along-kind of chorus, and it’s repetitive also, in a way. That’s also one of my favorites.

12. Stairway To The Skies

S: “Stairway To The Skies” is a special song, I must say. I don’t know why, but every time I put it on, it just triggers my emotion. I can also explain a little bit about the lyrics: It’s about the people who are recruited, it’s about this question – they are called “The Unforgiving,” but will they forgive themselves and will they find their stairway to the skies – and will they be redeemed or not? That’s the question, of course.

Quella che usa mio padre è una mastercard ricaricabile e che non viene accetttata come carta perchè non ha uan data d'inizio.

Più tardi, vi posterò l'e-mail che è giunta a mio padre ora sia lui che io stiamo pranzando ed io devo pure correre in uni per il parziale di matematica!!!!
